Riverbend Community Orchestra is an orchestra for aspiring young musicians or seasoned performers. We have a flexible commitment that allows musicians to commit to concerts as their time allows.
This group is ideal for high school level students and older! We require no audition and have a low-commitment expectation. We match our level of music to the musicians experience for each concert. Musicians only have to commit to one concert at a time. RCO performs in a variety of community venues.
Rehearsals for this session are on Tuesdays from 7:00p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting June 2nd – July 21st in the Ringhausen Building on the Lewis & Clark Community College campus.
The concert will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 26th at the Pere Marquette Lodge and Conference Center.
RCO is an orchestra created between the combined efforts of the Alton Youth Symphony and the Alton Symphony Orchestra to ensure that there is a place for musicians of all skill levels to play casually.
